As many are watching the democratic convention (yes, pinata even I have watched some of this) It is interesting to think of what momentum can do now, but what will it do later? As the Republicans go second, their convention speakers and topics will be fresher in the minds of voters. It does seem that this could be a major advantage especially in swing states. Kinda seems that even with the speeches and moments that have been had at this convention, that the republicans will have plenty of time to prepare their own and have the opportunity to give the WOW! kinda speaches that political conventions are usually remembered for.
Senator Kerry needs to hit a Grand Slam on thursday night, but even with a grand slam he isnt ghuaranteed that the republicans who bat last in the ninth wont have a couple longballs of their own.
